consulting is truly a lifestyle. though i'm no longer hopping on and off planes/rental cars/trains, or taking naps at random corners of public buildings (i.e., airports), or eating overpriced plastic junk at places-i-no-longer-remember and probably will-never-revisit... those last minute meeting invites, deliverable requests, and "short-term" commutes are still unique and annoying. i can so see a very ocd/ particular/ organized person to be totally fed up, especially now that this is the fourth year...
anyways, don't feel like complaining, i shouldn't complain. find joy and contentment in the little things in life :) and i just bought myself 2 items for my birthday...
1. all my friends know that i love rings and one of my weaknesses is buying rings for myself... this time i bought a green amethyst with small diamonds on 14k white gold... not sure if i like the idea of not trying it on before the purchase, but at lease there's a 30-day return policy :)
2. my other weakness is perfume. i admit i have many many bottles but i never use them, but chanel chance eau tendre: i've sniffed and tried this a gazillion times, almost every time i pass by the duty-free shop at airports... and finally decided to get myself a 1.7 oz bottle... about time.
